ASHLEY IS BEING LAZY!

Hmm. Lemme see. I still haven’t updated to Wordpress 2.6.1, I haven’t made a new layout, and I haven’t returned any comments. GO ME!

Had a root canal (*sigh* Yes, another one) yesterday. This morning, the tooth is a little tender. I don’t know why. I didn’t have ANY problems with the previous one that Dr. Lucky did. They always tell you that it’s normal for it to be sore, but, I don’t want it to be sore! The last one wasn’t! Ugh. They had to keep numbing this one; I had a lot of problems with this tooth to begin with; woke up one morning and my whole face was swollen, and they had to do some sort emergency procedure where the hollowed out the tooth, put a medicated chip in there, and put a temporary filling over it. Well, they had a bastard of a time trying to get the thing to stay numb, and they had the same problem today. But, it’s over and done with, and I won’t have ANY MORE problems out of that tooth.

Got my first payday from my new job, and MAN-O-MAN, was it good. And, that was with me missing 3 days two weeks ago when I had the stomach flu, and it was still a kick ass paycheck. I have one more paycheck coming from the cancer center, and it should be in the mail. Only has 3 days on it, so it should be about another $140.00.

In other news, I ordered a dash kit for my car, which will accent my dash, stereo, speakers, doors, and center console in HOT PINK. It’s coming in the mail, and it should be here today, in fact. I’ll get that thing on there this weekend and post pictures. It’s vinyl, so it’s stick on. Should be really fun. And, yes, that was sarcasm.

God, I need a new layout.

I’M LAZY!

I need to make a new layout. I don’t want to. I’m too lazy. Stare at Lara’s big hooters for a while longer until I make something new.

My job is SO hectic, but I love it. I’m just drained by the time 5 pm rolls around. I have a 3 day weekend coming up. Maybe I’ll post a new layout. I’m just rather fond of this one.

LORTABS ARE WONDERFUL…

The lortabs the dentist gave me for my tooth; well, I should say the hole where the tooth WAS are wonderful. My mouth feels a whole lot better. The stitches are still in there, but they’re supposed to dissolve in a few more days. I’ve been doing my salt water rinses, etc to keep it from being sore and infected. Bleh.

I landed myself a nice little case of food poisoning. Yup. Don’t eat at Chili’s. Nick took me to dinner Friday evening, and I got the mini hamburgers. If any of you have eaten at Chili’s, you know that they keep the place pretty dim. Didn’t think anything of it. About midnight, I woke up and I was SICK. Next morning, I check the leftovers that I brought home, and they were fucking PINK. It was awful. I went to the Dr, and they gave me some medicine to keep me from vomiting, but I couldn’t keep ANYTHING down, so I ended up having to go back, and they gave me a shot of anti-nausea meds in the ass, lol. Those, in turn, made me sleepy, and I didn’t get to go to work today because I over slept, and I was still pretty weak from being dehydrated yesterday. I called in to work and told her I’d be late, and my boss told me not to worry about it, just to come in tomorrow. I just feel awful, because I just started last Monday, and I’ve only worked 3 days. I have a dr. slip, so, the absence will be excused. Still, it doesn’t look good on my part.

*sigh* I’m sleepy. And hungry. Too afraid to put anything heavy on my stomach, though. All I’ve eaten today is an apple, a piece of toast, and blue koolaid. So far, I’m doing good.

OWWWWWWW!!!!!

So I had my tooth pulled today. And it hurt like hell. Where the tooth had been previously root canaled, it was difficult for them to remove it, and it broke off into 3 pieces. I had the “laughing gas” and lots of novicane. I’m a person who has difficulty to get completley numb, so they had to give me an ample amount. In doing so, it somehow managed to numb the whole right side of my face, and it got into my eye somehow, and I was seeing DOUBLE. I had to wait there an extra hr. for the stuff to start wearing off so that I could drive myself home, LOL. They wrote me a prescription for some steroids to help with the swelling, some antibiotics to prevent infection, and LORTABS for pain. W0ot!!

I went to my gastrointerologist today for a follow up for my stomach problems, and I’ve got to have an endoscopy tomorrow morning at 7 am to rule out any malignancy (cancer) or anything else. They’re going to take a biopsy, etc. Considering my medical history, I’m a little bit freaked out. But, more than likley it will be nothing.

My new job kicks ass. Everyone there is so nice, and they will help you with anything that you need, and they’re just so CRAZY, LOL. We all have a good time at work. Time just passes by. I make way more money there than I did at the Cancer Center, and I have benefits with this position, so, that makes it all worth it.

The office manager at the Cancer Center told the Dr. that I didn’t turn in my 2 week resignation notice, and he sent me a letter saying how “unprofessional” it was for me to decide to “suddenly leave without giving them advance notice“, etc etc. So, I sent him a nice little letter to the HOSPITAL, to make sure that the office manager doesn’t get her hands on it, and he’ll know just what the hell is going on. People just make me sick.

I need to make a new layout, but I’m just so fond of this one, I don’t want to take it down. You all can just stare at Lara for a little while longer.

My tooth hurts.

I NEED A VACATION FROM MY VACATION…

OMG I’ve been so busy.

CAROWINDS WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!!! OMG. I’m just so sorry that we could only spend ONE DAY at the park. It was effing amazing. They have this new coaster, called the NIGHTHAWK, and you lay down when you ride it, and OMFG, it’s just the shit. You feel like you’re flying and stuff. Amazing. Since it’s so new, we had to stand in line for 1 hr. and 45 mins. just to ride a 45 second ride, but, OMFG, it was SO worth the wait. If anyone goes to Carowinds, I strongly recommend riding this roller coaster. The only other coaster they had open was Afterburn, which used to be Top Gun, but they changed the name. It was amazing. We stood in line 10 mins. for this one, if even that.

It was 102 degrees down there, and people were collapsing from heat exhaustion like flies. All of the food places were giving out free water to keep people from getting dehydrated.

We stayed at the park for about 8 hours, then went back to the hotel. We went with our friend Andrew and His Girlfriend, and they had separate hotel rooms than us. We ordered pizza and got drunk, haha. We were drinking Grey Goose and Orange Juice, and I was calling myself Captain GreyGoose. I was kinda sloshed. The pics are HERE of my drunken adventures. I have yet to upload the pics that we took of the actual park, LOL.

My new job has been keeping me busy as hell, but it’s amazing. I make so much more money than at the other place, and the benefits are awesome.
